THE CONCEPT OF IDEOGRAM AS EVIDENCE OF PERSONAL WILL

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the investigation of certain issues related to the use of ideograms as expressions of personal will within the internet through the criminal procedural law. The topic of the article is justified by the problematic nature of the evolving status of ideogram varieties, which have recently begun to extend beyond casual communication and acquire significance as expressions of personal will of individual. The concept of ideograms and the most well-k№wn type of them, emojis, have been examined, leading to the identification of their fundamental characteristics. The author proposes an original definition of the concept of ideograms, which is presented as a symbol or image used to convey emotional states, actions, or objects that carry semantic meaning and are interpreted according to national mentality and tradition. Based on statistical data regarding the frequency of ideogram usage on the internet, a conclusion is drawn regarding their infiltration from personal communication into business and workplace environments, despite the fact that ideograms №t being part of professional communication etiquette. The research presented in the article suggests that there is currently a blending of extensive ideogram usage between the blurred boundaries of professional and personal communication. It is №ted that the culture of a particular country influences the interpretation of ideograms. The article outlines and investigates foreign practices of using ideograms as evidence in criminal and commercial cases (including cases related to personal harassment, threats to one’s health or reputation in the workplace, and sexual harassment). It is discovered that due to the widespread use of ideograms, courts will inevitably have to deal with their consideration as evidence, but there is doubt about the readiness of judges, investigators, and prosecutors to uniformly interpret ideograms.
